Task: We will be celebrating a Federation Day where each student will need to have a presentation/display based on the activities below.
Knowledge & Understanding: Task must be completed in class time only.
Write a speech (as an 1890s citizen) to present at a Federation People’s Conference. You need to persuade the conference members to vote for or against Federation.
To assist you in completing this task, first fill in this Research Journal

Highlight one 'Creating' Task to complete
Make a digital sound recording of a radio show or a movie to re-enact a significant event in the federation process.
Combine your knowledge of significant Federation people and events to design and create a 1900s – style board game. Use features of well known board games to help develop your own.
Make three cartoon strips to show three significant events (at least 2 pictures for each event) which occurred during the Federation process (1889-1901). Draw or use a digital animation program (see link below). Write a brief description about each event depicted in the cartoon.
