Unlock the full power of an organization to achieve strategic, sustainable results faster than leaders believe possible.
A change has taken place at the Nudgee College tuck-shop. As a stakeholder, you have been asked to represent the student body and put together a report outlining the reactions to the change and make suggestions as to how to effectively manage this change.
SCENARIO
The Nudgee College tuck-shop operates five days a week and on home games it is open on Saturdays too. It is open before school, at morning tea and lunch. They sell a variety of food items from ice-cream and sushi to pasta. A number of the items on the tuck-shop list are deemed unhealthy by the guidelines set out in the Smart Choices initiative developed by the Department of Education, Training and Employment. The youth age group (13 to 21) need nutritious, healthy and fresh foods in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The Ladies’ Auxiliary at the College have decided to embrace a healthy change and have the tuck-shop only open Monday, Wednesday, Friday at morning tea and lunch and at home games on Saturday. They are also rewriting the menu offered. The menu will include less sugary food and drinks and more fruit and vegetable options.
