They are going to sell a range of fresh juices and smoothies in addition to their current product range. You are to prepare a marketing feasibility study in report format to assess the viability of introducing the new product range.

Guidelines:

 

To complete this task you should:

  • Conduct research then select information from primary and secondary sources to gather data on the business, its products and the marketplace

  • Organise your research to form a SWOT analysis

Your feasibility study will:

  1. Describe the current business situation at Donut Time. Be sure to include who the competitors are, the target market and market segmentation and consumer behaviours

  2. Explain Donut Times' current product strategies

  3. Using your SWOT analysis, identify issues in entering a new market and interpret the trends, patterns and relationships

  4. Evaluate the viability of introducing a new product range

  5. Formulate a recommendation as to whether or not it is feasible to implement the new product range. Justify the recommendation (using evidence - primary and secondary)
